Il tour 2010 degli Skid Row  toccherà anche l’Italia e saranno due le date che li vedranno sul palco: il 04/12/2010 al New Age di Roncade (Tv) ed il 05/12/2010 all’Estragon di Bologna. L’attuale formazione della band americana, costituitasi nel 1986, è: Johnny Solinger , cantante, Dave “The Snake” Sabo, chitarra, Scotti Hill, chitarra, Rachel Bolan, basso, Dave Gara, batteria. Nel corso di molti anni hanno pubblicato dieci album, nei quali Heavy  Metal, Hair Metal, Pop Metal e Hard Rock si fondono o si alternano, in una musica dirompente e coinvolgente, che rispecchia la personalità dei componenti del gruppo.

The European tour is well underway with sold out shows already completed in Helsinki, Stockholm and Oslo – all three 3 shows have received 5 star reviews in the Daily Press …

Prima di iniziare a stilare la lista dei 200 album è quanto mai necessaria una premessa: diffidate da chiunque dica che la porpria classifica di album migliori sia la più veritiera: qui è tutto relativo, e quanto espresso altro non è che il risultato di un gioco, senza la minima pretesa di avere carattere assoluto. Tutti i 200 album qui presenti li considero fantastici, e la differenza, per esempio, tra il numero 52 ed il numero 147 è molto più piccola di quanto potrebbe sembrare; ce ne sarebbero tantissimi altri che avrei voluto mettere, ma 200 sono, e qualche rinuncia era fisiologicamente necessaria. Inoltre, voglio rimarcare che questa è una fotografia di un momento: non prendete questo come qualcosa di statico, visto che l’essere umano ha la facoltà di cambiare idea, è giusto considerare il tutto come qualcosa di modificabile; la mia idea originale, infatti, era mettere una lista in ordine cronologico, ma poi ho optato per questa soluzione. Niente, che dire: buon divertimento!
