I Tokio Hotel tornano, dopo Automatic, con una nuova ballata rock: World behind my wall.
Il singolo, sempre estratto dal cd Humanoid, è stato presentato dal gruppo agli Ema awards di Berlino e sta già infiammando i cuori delle adolescenti! Il brano si presenta in qualità di ballata rock triste e disincantata; il testo è di facile comprensione ed adolescenziale, ma la melodia lascia spazio ad ombre dark più evidenti che nei precedenti lavori. La canzone tratta della speranza di un ragazzo di poter esser pronto, un giorno, per affrontare quello che c’è al di là delle sue convinzioni e delle sue conoscenze, il mondo ignoto e a lui ancora estraneo che teme.
Humanoid mostra la volontà del gruppo di cercare un’identità più matura e complessa. La crescita si trova anche nella rievocazione di alcuni mostri sacri del rock, i Depeche Mode e i Pink Floyd.
